This years festival will run from Monday 4th September until Friday 8th September 2017. Not to be missed. Please note that the festival will be closed on monday lunchtime and open at 5pm.

A brief history of the Histon Beer Festival:

The first Histon Beer Festival was July 1997 – the only year that didn’t have a commemorative glass.

Mon 4th September 2017 will see the commencement of the 19th festival

Whilst it is known to have raised £61472.99  for charitable causes it can only be estimated to have served in excess of 600 different beers and close on 95 different ciders.

Such monies raised are only possible because of the volunteer staffing and monumental efforts of the ‘backroom team’

2012 saw a significant increase in the size of the festival with over 60 beers available at all times and 2014 saw a rise in the number of ciders and perries available.

Various food options will be constantly available during the week from beer festival favourites such as scotch eggs, pork pies and cheese through to BBQ and Thai.
